Children and young people
After-school and summer workshops, study support and outdoor activities to grow in confidence, friendship and independence.
We walk alongside children, young people, schools and families facing hardship, through experiences in the garden, the woods and along the Mis river. Every gift becomes a chance to learn, belong and grow.
A non-profit foundation. Our board members are unpaid volunteers: every euro goes to our projects.
Fondazione Tuvaykun was founded in 2021 in Sospirolo, at the foot of the Belluno Dolomites, by a group of families and friends. It is a participatory foundation, independent of any political party, working on a non-profit basis across the Veneto region.
We believe that contact with nature is one of the oldest and simplest medicines. That is why everything we do — a workshop in the garden, a course, a scholarship — shares one goal: to foster the growth and wellbeing of the whole person, especially those going through a fragile time.

A place where Nature, the Spirit and the Human Person are at the centre.
— The Tuvaykun dream
Nature is the means, people are the purpose. Every project starts from a real need and a real face.

After-school and summer workshops, study support and outdoor activities to grow in confidence, friendship and independence.
Field trips to the garden and the woods, programmes on environment and citizenship, and support for classes with vulnerable pupils.
Listening, shared moments and practical help for families going through a hard time.
Hands-on work on the land that helps people regain rhythm, skills and relationships.
We work at the foot of the Belluno Dolomites, along the Mis river. Our projects are born here, outdoors.

We grow vegetable gardens and small fields with methods that respect the soil. Sowing, tending and harvesting teach patience, responsibility and self-confidence.

The forest is our largest classroom: trails, wood, herbs and animals become chances to learn to observe and to care.

The Mis river marks the seasons of the valley. We get to know it, respect it and protect it, because water is life for the whole area.
Praised be You, my Lord, through our Sister, Mother Earth, who sustains and governs us.St Francis of Assisi, Canticle of the Creatures

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
